Halls For Hire

Vision manage on behalf of the council a range of venues in Redbridge which can be used for for various events such as weddings, parties, meetings, concerts, business meetings and conferences.

Central Library Rooms

There are two rooms available for hire at the library. The Gloucester Room holds a maximum of 100 people with the York Room holding 50. Both rooms are suitable for meetings and traing sessions. Rates are:

Sir James Hawkey Hall

Sir James Hawkey Hall, which can seat up to 483 people, and is a popular venue for most types of events such as Wedding Receptions, Parties, Concerts, Exhibitions, Bar Mitzvahs, Meetings and Civil Ceremonies. The layout of the hall, which includes a large stage, means that it is also suitable for stage performances and shows.

The hall is also licensed to undertake Wedding Civil ceremonies and Civil Partnerships.

Redbridge Town Hall

Main Hall

Redbridge's Town Hall, a Grade 2 listed building, centrally located in Ilford - stands as an impressive Victorian landmark in the shopping precinct. Inside are two spacious halls available for hire:the Main Hall and the Lambourne Room.

The Main Hall was originally the Council Chamber when the building opened in 1901. This hall has the largest capacity of all the venues owned and operated by us and is in regular demand for council and social activities.

It is a popular venue for wedding receptions, socials and staged events. Its central position also makes it ideal for exhibitions, mini-markets, antiques fairs and market research events.

We are pleased to announce that we can now do Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships in the Main Hall and the Lambourne Room.

The hall can seat 500 with no dance floor and 468 with a small dance floor. For meetings the total capacity is 580 with 80 guests in the balcony. Kitchen facilities are available with this hall and the hall can be hired with the Lambourne Room if you require a venue with a  larger capacity.

Availability: Monday - Sunday (9am - 12 Midnight)

Hire Costs: Mon – Thur day rate (8 hours) £865, Friday day rate (8 hours) £1445, Sat & Sun day rate (8 hours) £1735, Bank Hol day rate (8 hours) £2025. Additional Items to hire: Dressing Rooms x 2 (£20 each) Bar/Counter (£50)

Town Hall Lambourne Room

Redbridge's Town Hall, a Grade 2 listed building, centrally located in Ilford - stands as an impressive Victorian landmark in the shopping precinct. Inside are two spacious halls available for hire by the public: the Main Hall and the Lambourne Room.

The Lambourne Room is the smaller venue within the town hall, though still large enough to host a concert or a reception with dance floor. It is also ideal for coffee mornings and smaller exhibitions or bazaars.

We are pleased to announce that we can now do Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships in the Lambourne Room.

The Lambourne Rooms can seat 200 for concerts, meetings and receptions with no dance floor or 120 with a small dance floor. The Main Hall can also be book for extra capacity.

Availability: Monday - Friday (4pm - 12 Midnight) Saturday and Sunday (9am - 12 Midnight)

Hire Costs: Mon – Fri excl. Thurs day rate (8 hours) £350, Thursday day rate (8 hours) £250 (No kitchen available), Sat & Sun day rate (8 hours) £695, Bank Hol day rate (8 hours) £865. Additional setup charge for stage £50
