Cycle Vision is Redbridge Cycling Centres programme to deliver coaching to all riders and abilities and includes Learn to Ride, British Cycling's Go-ride, holiday programmes, Bikeability, and adapted bike usage for disabled groups schemes.
Cycle Vision aims to encourage learning, personal development, equality and access, by promoting and delivering cycle coaching to all areas of the community. These aims comply with, and are an intrinsic part, of Visions core values. Our overall aspiration is to improve the health, happiness and energy levels of all participating customers, as part of a healthy living lifestyle – that is accessible to everyone in the community. Regular cyclists enjoy a fitness level equal to that of a person ten years younger.
Learn to Ride
The centre offers learn to ride coaching for all ages from 5 upwards and including adults. In the last year the centre has taught over 200 people how to ride and it is never too late to learn! Sessions can be booked according to your schedule and are £22.00 for 1 hour, which includes a bike, helmet and instruction. Most people pick up the basics of riding within the hour and do not require any further sessions, however the centre can also provide follow up sessions or refreshers if required.
