| Parks and Open Spaces
Parks and open spaces are what makes Redbridge a green place to live and we are lucky to be able to offer so many different locations for you to enjoy.
There are forests, lakes, large country parks and urban parks all with different characters and facilities for both adults and children to enjoy.
Our animal zoo at Foxburrows Farm is one of Hainault Forest’s main attractions. It has a variety of animals, from rabbits and geese to donkeys and baby chicks. Coupled with the woods, lake and open spaces of Hainault Park this makes an ideal trip for all the family.
Along with Redbridge Cycling Centre we also have Loxford Park, Goodmayes Park and Forest Road Playing Fields for cyclists to enjoy. Valentines Mansion, which is a beautifully restored 300 year old country house in the grounds of Valentines Park, is a fantastic place to visit. | |

There are over two dozen children's play areas within offering children the opportunity to play in lots of different surroundings all in safe and secure environments whilst allowing parents and carers to relax at the same time.
There are eight locations where tennis can be played free on a first come first served basis for beginners and regular players alike. There are six outdoor gyms and a boulder park, fishing lakes, nature trails, football pitches, bowls greens and skate parks. Also there is golf, basketball and cricket pitches for hire among many other attractions.
